Born and raised in Naoshima. He lives in the "Honmura area" where the historic townscape remains and the popular " Art House Project " is being developed, and is affectionately known as "the old man of the sunset. He has been photographing the sunsets of Naoshima as his life's work for more than 10 years, and his work has been exhibited at art facilities on the island.
